6/30/2017 We'll Miss You, Brent!Brent Cooke is one of CCVa's founders and most dedicated members, so we were sad to see him go as he retired and moved to Arizona this month. But before he left we made sure to give him a gift to remember us by! Below is a video of Brent receiving his gift, a framed corn broom with an embroidered background listing only some of his contributions to the CCVa.

3/1/2017 2017 GNCC Arena Club ChampionshipThe Curling Club of Virginia is proud to host the 2017 Arena Club Championship bonspiel at Triangle Curling Club, a dedicated curling facility in Durham, NC! Note that the date has changed to a week earlier to avoid conflicting with the GNCC Annual Meeting! 
The 2017 GNCC Arena Club Championship will be held May 12-13 with the first draw on Friday. Each Arena Club in the GNCC is guaranteed at least one team as long as entries are received by April 9th, but clubs are allowed to enter more than one team. Registration for additional teams will be accepted until April 16th. Teams will receive an email asking for more information after registering (team and player names, food allergies, etc). The entry fee includes all meals and a three game guarantee; drinks and alcohol will be available for purchase. The Courtyard Marriott is offerring group rates at $99-109/night for a King bed or 2 Queen beds if you book before April 28th. Click on this link for the group rates.
