A Whole New Era in CCVa Curling

Have you come out to curling before but found it difficult to slide the stones all the way down the ice? Well we have great news for you! CCVa has purchased a walk-in freezer to cool the stones before we play, and it made its debut last weekend. Now we start our games with our rocks at the same temperature as the ice, and it's been a huge improvement! You can say goodbye to stones melting the ice and having to push as hard as you can to get them into the house.

Curling with cold stones - how cool is that?!?
