 The Curling Club of Virginia was invited up to play with the Chesapeake Curling Club in Chesapeake, Maryland. A good number of our regular curlers were able to make the trek and we enjoyed a fun-filled day of friendly curling and even had time for a midday pizza party! We look forward to visiting our friends to the north in the near future!

 We were well represented at the 74th Annual Francis Dykes Memorial Bonspiel which was held at the Potomac Curling Club in Laurel, MD from February 27, 2013 to March 3, 2013. The bonspiel is for GNCC men with 5 or fewer years curling experience. Our CCVA curlers included Travis Hamilton, Jonah Yearick, Joshua Leggette, Samuel Sparks and Patrick Walsh.
