Meet the Club: Patrick Walsh

Meet the Curling Club of Virginia; meet Patrick Walsh! Patrick is the club’s Vice President and a founding member.  Patrick has been involved with the Club since its beginnings in 2010.  Raised in Tennessee, he had never heard of curling prior to watching the Torino Olympics in 2006.  Patrick loves the social aspects of the Club as much as he loves the game.  He is slowly perfecting his form and has finally invested in his own pair of curling shoes!  This June, Patrick will be heading to New Hampshire to help represent the club at the GNCC Arena Club Championships.

Patrick works in an administrative role with his alma mater, the University of Virginia.  He and his wife Meghan live in Charlottesville.
